Search Console insights, explained.

Upload your own Google Search Console CSV and get a prioritized action plan from your real data: striking-distance keywords to push to page one, low-CTR pages to rewrite, and your top performers. Your file is parsed in your browser and never uploaded.

No GSC export handy?

Turn your Search Console data into a to-do list

Google Search Console is full of signal, but the raw export is overwhelming. This tool reads your own Performance CSV right in your browser and pulls out the moves that actually grow traffic: keywords you can push to page one, pages bleeding clicks because of weak titles, and the pages already winning that deserve more support. Nothing is invented. Every number comes straight from your file.

How it works

Export the Performance report from Search Console (Queries and/or Pages), unzip the download, and upload the CSV here. The tool detects whether it is a query or page export, computes clicks, impressions, average CTR, and average position, then groups the results into four prioritized reports. The math is standard arithmetic on your real data, so it is fully transparent and repeatable.

Striking distance is where the quick wins live

The most valuable report flags queries sitting at roughly average position 8 to 20 with meaningful impressions. You already rank, just barely off page one, where most clicks happen. A better title, a few paragraphs of supporting content, an internal link or two, and these often jump to the first page. Because you are already relevant, the effort-to-reward ratio beats chasing brand-new keywords.

Free, and more honest than the paid dashboards

SEMrush and Ahrefs bolt Search Console dashboards onto plans that start north of one hundred dollars a month. SEO Gets and Keyword Hero charge twenty to fifty dollars a month for similar views. This tool is free, runs on your own real Google data so there is zero fabrication, and the striking-distance report is more directly actionable than most paid dashboards. The optional AI summary just explains your priorities in plain English. It never invents numbers.

Pro tips

  • Export at least the last 3 months so impression and position averages are stable, not noisy.
  • Run the Queries export for striking-distance and CTR work, and the Pages export to see which URLs to support.
  • Fix low-CTR titles first. You can win those clicks today without moving your ranking at all.
  • Pair a striking-distance keyword with the page that already ranks for it, then strengthen that one page.
  • Re-export monthly and compare. Watch positions climb as you ship the fixes.

Frequently asked questions

What CSV should I upload?
Use the Performance report export from Google Search Console. Open Performance, set your date range, then click Export and choose CSV or Google Sheets. The download is a ZIP, so unzip it first and upload the Queries.csv or Pages.csv file inside. This tool reads either one.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The CSV is parsed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Your raw queries and URLs never leave your computer. Only if you click the optional AI summary button do we send anonymized aggregate numbers, never your full keyword list.
What is a striking-distance keyword?
It is a query where you already rank on the edge of page one, roughly average position 8 to 20, and have meaningful impressions. You are close enough that small on-page improvements can push it onto page one, where most of the clicks are. These are usually the fastest wins.
Why are some queries high impressions but low CTR?
Lots of people see your result in search but few click it. That usually means the title tag and meta description are not compelling or do not match what searchers want. Rewriting them to be clearer and more enticing often lifts clicks without any change in ranking.
Do I need a paid SEO tool for this?
No. Paid suites like SEMrush and Ahrefs charge over one hundred dollars a month for Search Console dashboards. This tool uses your own real Google data, so there is zero fabrication, and the striking-distance report is more actionable than most paid dashboards. It is completely free with no signup.
