Best SEO companies in Miami: an honest list

Miami has more SEO companies than any one page could rank honestly, so this one does not try. Below is an alphabetical list of real agencies working in the Miami market, each with a short factual note on what it focuses on. Kelly WM wrote this page and is one of the entries, which is exactly why the rest of it is a checklist you can use on us.

How we built this list

Disclosure first: Kelly Webmasters and Marketers wrote this page, and we are one of the companies on it. That makes us an interested party, so we built the list in a way you can check yourself.

Every firm below is a real, currently operating company doing search work for businesses in the Miami market, and we confirmed each one had a live website before publishing. They appear in alphabetical order, not ranked order, because we have no honest basis for ranking a competitor we have never worked with or against.

What you will not find here: star ratings, review counts, client totals, awards, or a claim that anyone is the number one agency in Miami. Each entry is limited to the name and a short description of what that firm focuses on, drawn from what the firm publishes about itself. We do not link out to any of them, and nobody paid to appear or to be left out.

The list is not exhaustive either. Miami has far more agencies and freelancers than one page can cover. Treat this as a starting shortlist, then use the criteria below on anyone you talk to, including us.

Miami SEO companies, listed alphabetically

Alphabetical order. Position on this list implies nothing about quality.

How to actually choose between them

Names on a list will not tell you who fits your business. These questions do more work than any ranking:

Miami adds two wrinkles worth raising on the first call. A large share of this market searches in Spanish as well as English, so ask how an agency handles both without running one language through machine translation. And the metro splits into separate markets: Brickell, Wynwood, Coral Gables, Doral and Miami Beach do not share one set of results, so a plan that treats greater Miami as one flat city leaves visibility on the table.

Questions to ask on the first call

You learn more from how a firm answers an uncomfortable question than from anything on its website. Bring these to every consultation, ours included:

That last one is the tell. Anyone guaranteeing a number one ranking is promising something no agency controls, and honest firms say so out loud. If you want a second opinion before the call, our free website report card and AI visibility checker show where you stand today, and what should you pay lays out the red flags we watch for.

What the work should cost, and how long it takes

Price is where these conversations go sideways, usually because nobody spelled out the deliverables underneath the number. Two agencies can quote the same fee for very different amounts of work, so compare scope first.

For reference, our own ongoing SEO and Local SEO runs $1,500 to $3,500 a month for most businesses, and $3,500 to $7,500 a month for competitive metros or multi-location work. The full breakdown lives on the Miami SEO cost page, and our SEO cost guide explains how agencies structure fees generally. If paid search is part of the mix, ask how Google Ads management is billed, since a flat management fee and a percentage of ad spend create very different incentives.

On timing, be suspicious of speed. Local visibility can move inside the first 60 to 90 days when a Google Business Profile and location pages have been neglected, while meaningful organic movement usually takes three to six months and compounds from there. Our SEO timeline guide walks through why.

Whatever you pay, ask what survives if you stop paying. Content, code and accounts you own keep earning. Rented visibility stops the day the invoice does.

Where we fit, and where we do not

Here is the tradeoff, stated plainly. We are an Orlando company and work with Miami businesses remotely, the same way we work with local service businesses nationwide, and we have been doing that since 2008. We do not have a Miami office and we will not pretend otherwise. If someone driving to your office matters to you, hire one of the Miami firms above. That is a legitimate reason to choose differently, and we would rather say it here than three calls into a sales process.

What we offer instead is a small studio where the owner is on every call and the same hands do the web design, the SEO and the AI search work, so nothing gets tossed between vendors. Sites are custom-coded, content is organized in silos rather than posted at random, and you own the site, the content and the accounts. Everything is month to month, because we would rather earn the next month than hold you to a term.

To see the method first, read how we build, browse the wider set of Miami marketing services, or compare this page to the same guide we wrote for our home market, best SEO companies in Orlando. Then put us through the checklist like everyone else.

Common questions

What is the best SEO company in Miami?

There is no single best one, and any page claiming otherwise is selling something. The right firm depends on your industry, your competitors and what you actually need built. The list above is alphabetical rather than ranked, and the criteria section is the part that matters: how they build, how they plan content, how they handle the Map Pack and AI answers, and what they refuse to promise.

How did you decide who to include?

We researched agencies actively doing search work in the Miami market and confirmed each one had a live website before naming it. Each description comes from what the firm publishes about itself, limited to focus and services. We deliberately left out ratings, review counts and rankings, since we have no way to verify another agency's results and no business grading a competitor we have never worked alongside.

Did anyone pay to be on this list?

No. Nobody paid to appear, nobody paid for placement, and nobody was left off for refusing to pay. There are no affiliate links or referral arrangements behind any name here, and we do not link out to any of the companies listed. Kelly WM appears because we compete for this work, which we disclose at the top of the page rather than burying at the bottom.

Should I hire a Miami agency or is remote fine?

Both work, and the honest answer depends on you. If you want someone at your office, on your job sites, or at local events, hire locally from the list above. If you care more about who does the work and how it is built, location matters less than it used to. Ask either way how often you will meet, who is on the call, and what reporting looks like between meetings.

How much should SEO cost in Miami?

Enough that a competent person can do real work every month, and less than the value of the jobs it brings in. Ranges vary widely by industry and competition, and the number matters less than the deliverables underneath it. Our Miami SEO cost page breaks down what different budgets buy. Be careful with pricing far below the market, since bargain SEO usually means mass-produced content that can set you back.

Does AI search change who I should hire?

It changes what to ask. Buyers increasingly get a recommendation from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews before they ever see a map. Google now sells ads in and around those AI answers, so paid placement is on that screen. What no budget buys is the organic answer itself, so ask any agency how they earn a citation there rather than how they would purchase one.

Can any agency guarantee a number one ranking?

No, and the guarantee itself is the red flag. Nobody outside Google controls the algorithm, so a promised position is a promise the agency cannot keep. Honest firms talk in ranges and tradeoffs instead: what is likely in 90 days, what takes longer, and what depends on how aggressively your competitors spend. If a pitch has no caveats in it, that is information about the pitch.
