How much does SEO cost for a wildlife removal company?

The short answer: Most wildlife removal companies land in the $1,500 to $3,500 a month range for ongoing SEO and Local SEO. Companies working a competitive metro, running several locations, or holding a franchise territory land at $3,500 to $7,500 a month. The website itself is a separate one-time build at $3,500 to $12,000+, and most wildlife companies bundle the two. Everything is month to month, with no long contracts, and you own the site, the content, the domain, and the accounts.

Why two wildlife removal companies get two different quotes

The generic version of this question, what SEO costs in general and why agencies price the way they do, is covered in the SEO cost guide. This page is about what changes when the calls are about something living in a customer's attic. Four things move your number.

How many companies are chasing the same call. A one truck operator in a rural county with three real competitors is a different project from a company working a dense metro where national pest brands and a dozen local trappers are all fighting for the same "wildlife removal near me" search. More competitors means more pages, more Map Pack work, and more months of it. That is what pushes a quote toward the upper range.

Where your reviews stand. Wildlife calls start scared. Somebody hears scratching over the bedroom ceiling at eleven at night and wants a company that sounds calm, humane, and like it has done this before. They read reviews before they dial, and they read them fast. If your profile is thin, or a competitor has a wall of them, getting reviews moving has to be part of the plan, and that work shows up in the price.

How much content the trade actually needs. Wildlife removal is not one service. Raccoons in the attic, bats behind the fascia, squirrels chewing a soffit, snakes under a deck, dead animal recovery, and the exclusion repairs that follow all get searched separately, and they get searched at different times of the year. Covering that honestly takes more pages than a single service trade, and pages take time to write.

One location or several. A single shop needs one profile fed and one service area won. A company with three branch addresses, or a franchise owner holding a multi county territory, needs every one of them earning its own local visibility. That is the most common reason a wildlife removal company crosses from the lower range into the upper one.

What each range buys when the work is trapping and exclusion

At $1,500 to $3,500 a month you are buying the ongoing SEO and Local SEO program for one service area: the technical work on the site, the species and service pages that need to exist, city pages for the towns you actually drive to, the Google Business Profile and Map Pack work, and the review and reputation side of it. That is where most single location wildlife removal companies sit.

At $3,500 to $7,500 a month the same program runs across a competitive metro or several locations at once. More cities, more profiles, more content, and a heavier push on the searches every trapper in the region wants.

Two things sit outside that number. The website is a one-time build at $3,500 to $12,000+ depending on size and complexity, priced on its own; the build cost question has its own page. Google Ads is also separate. Agencies typically bill it as either a flat management fee or a percentage of your ad spend. We do not publish a fee for it and quote flat after a free consult, and the spend itself goes to Google, never to us.

Either range, the terms are the same: month to month, no long contract, and everything belongs to you if you leave. We also run first-party lead dashboards on more than 20 of the sites we manage, so you can watch the calls and form fills land instead of taking an agency's word for what the month produced.

When you pay the top of the range, and when you do not

It runs higher when:

It runs lower when:

What does not move the price is the calendar. Bats, raccoons, and squirrels each have their own busy stretch, and owners reasonably ask about paying more in season and less in the quiet months. We do not price that way, because the timing runs backwards. Pages that need to be ranking by the time bat season opens have to be published months earlier. The retainer stays flat and the work moves around inside it. The timeline guide covers how far ahead that starts.

How to size your own number before the next raccoon call

Do three things, in this order.

First, decide what a month of this is worth against your own average ticket. That arithmetic, whether the jobs it takes to cover a retainer are jobs you can realistically win, is the question our is it worth it page takes on directly, so run it there before you shop quotes.

Second, get an honest read on where you stand today. The what should you pay tool is free and gives you a range to sanity check any proposal against.

Third, make whoever is quoting you get specific. Which pages get built, which cities, what happens to the Google Business Profile, and who owns the site and the accounts if you walk. A quote that will not answer those in writing is telling you something.

If you want to see what this looks like for your own company, the wildlife removal page lays out how we build for this trade, and we will put together a free mockup of your homepage first so you are looking at something real instead of a slide deck. Related questions

Do you charge more during bat and raccoon season?

No. The retainer is flat and month to month. Seasonal pages have to be published and indexed well before the season they are written for, so most of that work happens in your quiet months, not your busy ones. Billing does not follow the calendar.

Is the Google Business Profile work included, or billed on top?

It is inside the monthly Local SEO scope, not a separate line item. For wildlife removal it carries more weight than it does in most trades, because a homeowner searching at midnight for animal removal near me hits the Map Pack before anyone's homepage. Categories, service areas, photos, and review responses all live in that monthly work.

Is ad spend part of the monthly SEO price?

No. SEO and Google Ads are separate budgets. Agencies usually bill ads as a flat management fee or a percentage of spend; we do not publish a fee and quote flat after a free consult, and the click spend always goes to Google. Plenty of wildlife companies run both, but you should see them priced separately.
